Hypnotherapy is a clinical application of hypnosis. Hypnosis has been well researched in medical laboratories in USA. American clinical psychologists employ it as an effective tool to improve people’s lives. Hypnosis as a therapeutical tool is very different from what you have heard about or seen on TV.
In my recent book, “Only for New Zealand Women”. Ten conversations with a Hypnotherapist” 2013, I explained the difference between hypnosis as a therapy and stage hypnosis for entertainment pp. 140-141.
